She lives with her husband Mick in Thornton.
She has one daughter Kaylah who is 24 years old and whose father (Belinda’s first husband) was in the RAAF. She also has had other family in the services, her cousin and uncle were in the RAAF, while her grandfather was in the Army in WW2 fighting in New Guinea and Great Grandfather and Great Uncle fought in WW1 in France.
Belinda has volunteered her time in fundraising events before with Women’s Cancer, Paraquad and worked occasionally as a volunteer at the Soul Café. Her latest venture was a 35K walk in Sydney. She has found this type of volunteer work extremely rewarding and is looking forward to putting what she has learnt (along with her creative talents) into developing a fundraising program for AFOM.
After reading what AFOM’s goals were and relating them to her knowledge of her family and their connection to the Military Belinda wanted to be a part of AFOM and its growth into the future for all Australian Military Families
We welcome her to our cause.
